FAQ

Question: I cannot hear any sound in iReadMusic!  What's the issue?

Answer: As of version 1.4 of iReadMusic there are three possible reasons you cannot hear sound:

  1. You have turned off sound on the settings page. You can tell if the sound has been turned off by looking at speaker icon on each game screen.  If there is a red slash through the speaker you have turned off the sound.  Go to the settings screen and turn the sound back on.  Once you do this you should be able to hear the sound.
  2. The silent switch on the side of the iPhone has been set to silent.  If the silent switch is set then no sound will be emitted from iReadMusic. Simply flip the silent switch to ring and you should be able to hear sound again.
  3. The volume is turned off or is really low. Turn up the volume using the switch on the side of the iPhone/iPod touch. If you are blocking the speaker with your hand the sound will be at a significantly lower level. Also if you have headphone plugged in the sound will be routed to the headphones.
