"Start at Fret" limited to first fret?

I cannot seem to set the starting fret to anything other that fret 1.  Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for the feedback. I'll try to get this feature released fairly soon. I'm releasing 1.3 next week and then I'll start working on this change.

Start with version 1.4 you now can configure the starting fret number.  Hopefully this improvement will allow you the ability to focus on the higher positions much more easily.

Add another satisfied guitar player that would love to be able to change the fret starting position. Currently, it's very difficult to practice, for example, in the key of A major in the 5'th position- one must use a wide range of frets for this, the first 4/5 frets are not used, the remaining frets are in a tiny scale and hard to push with my stubby middle aged fingertips! Great product even with this deficiency- awesome once it becomes available!

You are not doing anything wrong.  Currently we only support starting at the first fret, but we do have plans to make this configurable. We're finishing up version 1.3 so I don't think it'll make it in our release later this month, but I'll try to get it added in version 1.4.
