We just submitted version 1.4 of iReadMusic for Apple's approval today.  Major new features of this release include:

  • Added the ability to configure the starting fret
  • Added a freestyle play mode where you can play notes on the instrument and see the corresponding note on the musical staff
  • New electric guitar sound file
  • No longer need to install sound files (all instruments are now pre-installed)
  • Added an optional training mode where the answers are given to help the initial learning process
  • Added an option for the fretboard to be displayed on the top of the screen
  • Fixed the crash that caused phone to reset as well as several other stability enhancements
