Apple approved version 1.2 of iReadMusic on June 17, 2009. The new features and fixes include:
- Ukulele support
- Enhanced mandolin sounds
- Ability to disable the instrument or the staff in Name That Note mode
- Added a manual mode for Name That Note where the user decides when to move to the next note
- Display accidental sign on all buttons in Name That Note for the random notes with accidentals song
- Fixed bug with 5th string Banjo in TAB mode
- Added an answer button in Play mode for all stringed instrument
